My name is Taylor Ventura. I am Toronto-based photographer.

In the 1990's my parents immigrated to Toronto, Canada from East Asia, (the Philippines and Vietnam). I currently continue to reside in Toronto since it's provided me with multiple opportunities. I've been able to continue an education at Ontario's largest art and design institution, OCAD University. As well as create and fulfill my passions in being an artist.

I started my journey at OCAD University in 2017, but I took a two year break and came back in 2019. During the past few years at OCAD, I've been able to discover my love for working with themes of women empowerment, gender, healing, fashion, identity, and nostalgia.

Aside from being a full time student, I freelance in Photography and Videography. I explore different mediums in photography such as shooting events, curatorial fashion look books, and portraits. It's important to me to try different mediums of photography because I believe that there's so many moments in time, and in life, that can be translated into art and make it even more beautiful than it already is.
